Eden Prairie Baseball Alums Begin 2020 Seasons.

EP Alums pose for their respective team websites as their seasons begins this week.

Eden Prairie, Mn - With temperatures still hovering below zero on most mornings, 26 young men from Eden Prairie prepare to run on the grassy fields of the South, or the astro-turfed grounds of domed  stadiums and field houses of the North. Yes it's baseball season.  The NCAA D1 2020 season starts this week. Yes games. The D2, D3, and JC's teams will follow suite the weeks to follow.

Eden Prairie High School and Eden Prairie Legion teams produced 22 of players listed on collegiate rosters this spring. When you add other EP players that attended private high schools instead, that number jumps to 26.  Of the 26, 9 players are on D1 teams, 7 on D2 teams, and 10 on D3 teams. This group represents the 2nd highest total of players on collegiate rosters during a 4 year stretch. EP Alumni from 2011-2014 had 30 players on rosters during that span. Pretty remarkable.

Eden Prairie has traditionally produced its share of college level players. Since 1996 the total number has surpassed 110. Likewise, no fewer than 12 have made it to the  professional level.  The tradition lives on. #TheEPBrotherHood
